I, turkey spokes-bird of the year, deny eating our own kid for Thanksgiving! Humans should choose a less birdie way to eat for the holidays. Yes, it's a tradition to eat turkey for Thanksgiving, but how about roast beef or puffed pastries? Think of all the poor turkey's lives. (Oh, the horror!) I declare that there be no turkey eating this Thanksgiving! (Back off farmer, there's a new turkey in town!) So please, don't kill our kind. How about puffed pastries? (They're delicious!) Vote no on turkey feasting!

I have been hiding for many days in a hollowed-out tree in Bulgaria. It is the beginning of November and many of my kind are being hunted for Thanksgiving. Turkeys everywhere are being killed and there are less and less of us each year. Why can't people eat chicken or something this year? So please, don't eat turkey this year or we may be extinct sooner than later.

People should not eat turkeys for Thanksgiving. I'm a fellow turkey and I believe that turkeys shouldn't be at a Thanksgiving feast because, every year, turkeys are dieing in their millions! You may not care for turkey dieing but what about the vegetarians of the world? They don't get any food for Thanksgiving. Now you know why you shouldn't eat turkey and I hope you have changed your minds.

I'm a turkey. Yes, I taste good but why do you have to eat me? Why can't you eat chicken, they taste better? Also, you can eat biscuits, ribs, pork chops, garlic bread and vegetables. You can eat all that stuff, just don't eat turkey.

"Hey! Hey kid! Come here. I need to tell you something."
"What do you need to tell me turkey?" said the kid.
"I want to tell you other good things to eat for Thanksgiving like chicken or ham, and if you like steak and for extras mashed potatoes or baked potatoes. Also, green beans are good," said the turkey.
"Wow!" said the kid.
"But" said the turkey, "I cost a lot of money. Soon I will be endangered. That's why you shouldn't eat me."

Eeek! Please don't eat me for dinner. How would you like it if you were a turkey and were killed? I'm very young and looking forward to a nice life. I'd rather you were eating veggie burgers and I'd rather be playing tag outside than being served for people on a dish. Please don't eat my friends or me; we're all living creatures.

Eeek! Please don't eat me for Thanksgiving. How come you can eat me, but I can't eat you? Think of my many relatives that were turned into Thanksgiving dinner. Eat the pig, save the bird! Break tradition, make a change, let the turkey live.

A perfectly cooked turkey caught from the wild would taste delicious on Thanksgiving. The turkey you eat is probably not from the wild. Do you know where your Thanksgiving turkey will come from? "Gobble, gobble. Maybe I will be your Thanksgiving turkey. I live in a turkey factory farm. I live a crowded, scary, disgusting life. I am not a healthy, wild turkey. I grew up in cages with hundreds of other, sad turkeys. Gobble, gobble, cough, cough. Do you really want to eat a sick turkey?"

Imagine if you were a turkey and you were going to get your head cut off. What would you do? I'd say, "Eat ice cream!" because you don't have to kill it!
