This site celebrates Earth Day on March 20, 2002, which is the Spring/Vernal Equinox, not on April 22, 2002, when the rest of the world does.

Mark Ahlness, a 3rd grade teacher at Arbor Heights Elementary School in Seattle, WA is the online project manager. Students can complete the project, which has been featured in Weekly Reader can participate, in 4 simple steps.
