Grab your suitcase, passport, sneakers, and camera! We’re off to the Summer Olympics. Once every four years thousands of the world’s best athletes from hundreds of countries gather in a host city to compete in events from table tennis to weightlifting. In 2024 these Olympians head to Paris, France, for two weeks of summer games. Learn the meaning of Olympic symbols, the logic and usefulness of pictograms, and a bit of Olympic trivia that will help you keep up with the athletes. Follow the Paralympics to be awed by athletes who’ve challenged themselves to be “swifter, higher, and stronger” despite physical disabilities. By the time you tune in to the events, you’ll be ready to cheer for your favorite sport, athlete, and country. Let the games begin!
