America is home to over 400 national parks in 49 states and territories. Can’t visit them all? This issue guides young readers on a reading journey with links to virtual tours of our nation’s park system. Students will learn the names and location of parks closest to home and how they can become part of the National Park Services’ Junior Ranger program to help preserve our national treasures.
In this issue students will:

- meet Python Pete, a small but mighty dog who tracks non-native pythons in the Florida Everglades
