Practicing safe behaviors around moving vehicles is critical to saving lives and helps the driver stay focused on the road. For children this means using car seats and booster seats correctly until they reach the legal weight and height limits—sometime between 8 and 12 years old. It’s important for young passengers to know these rules, too, so they know that driving—and riding—safely means paying attention to the rules of the road. This issue introduces an important topic with lifelong lessons.
