Imagine an eye socket so large it could fit four cars inside… or an arm so long 4,000 people could stand on it! Impossible? Not if the head and arm are part of a mountain sculpture! Although still under construction, the South Dakota memorial to Crazy Horse is already drawing massive crowds that marvel at its majesty. Sculptor Kroczak Ziolkowski has undertaken a “monumental” task to carve a mountainside into a larger than life rendition of this famous Native American—best remembered for his role in the Battle of Little Big Horn.
