Friends, family and a campfire make a great combination for summer cooking and fun! Don’t have a campfire? A backyard barbecue works, too! This issue—inspired by cooking from the Old West—presents a scrumptious Turkey Chile recipe with a dash of history and a sprinkle of games and activities. While eating chili, young campers will learn about a country in South America whose name sounds almost the same! Campfire stories will grow as kids use the newspaper to create one of their own.
