Long, short, silly, familiar or unusual, words fill out world with meaning and help us understand each other. In this issue, words are the “stars”—and the activities included guide young detectives to the dictionary for some word work. Along the way students will practice spelling, alphabetizing and have some fun balancing the dictionary on their heads!
