Kids are natural born actors and creating a stage show from beginning to end is a great way to practice and apply reading and writing skills. More importantly, it helps strengthen creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and problem solving—skills that 21st Century careers demand. When we tap into our creative side, we unleash the potential artist and discover unexplored talents. This issue provides plenty of ideas for putting on a show of your own including tips for performing in front of an audience, a simple script idea to launch the fun and exercises to prepare for stage movement. You’ll even learn what to do if you make a mistake—for the “show must go on!”
