Kids Making a Difference was started ten years ago by an 8-year-old girl who wanted to help injured manatees. Manatees are large mammals that live in the ocean. By making manatee pins and selling them, she not only raised money but also awareness for this cause. Since then hundreds of kids have created projects of their own. Read about these young heroes and their unique contributions that make a difference and influence others.
