It’s February, and love is in the air as Valentine’s Day takes center stage among the holidays. Heartfelt messages—accompanied by flowers and boxes of candy—relay good feelings among friends, family and sweethearts. It’s an optimal time to express love for each other, and a great occasion to remind us to love our own bodies during Heart Month and Dental Health Month. Taking care of our heart includes healthy habits and exercise to keep this muscle beating long and strong. Dental care means eating the right kinds of food so teeth will last a lifetime—too many Valentine chocolates can do more harm than good! Finding the right balance between being sweet to your sweetheart, your heart and your teeth will make February a healthier month for all!
