“Remember the time we …”
Developing a robust memory helps people recall all aspects of life from personal, to academics, to careers. This twist on “Memorial Day” develops and strengthens skills for a powerful memory. Like any muscle, the brain needs to be exercised to grow and stay strong! Through challenges and games, readers of all ages will interact with content designed to recall visual cues, details, order of presentation, matching, location, and items on a list. Activities tap into multiple modalities of learning and curriculum content including art, reading, writing, spelling and visualization skills. Reflecting on a loved one, a family veteran, an influential person in their lives, or a special memory from the school year my lead to recording thoughts in essay format or a letter to the editor of the local newspaper! These “weighty” but fun activities will build up your memory muscles. Are you up for the challenge of Memory Games? Then lace up your sneakers and join in the fun!
