Meet one of the Supremes! No, not the famous musical trio, but a woman we can all admire who sits on the highest legal court in the United States of America. Sonia Sotomayor did not have a life of privilege growing up, but she did have a big dream! Sonia knew that hard work and a fierce focus on education would help her achieve her goal of a life of service to others. When she grew up, Sonia chose a legal career with the goal of becoming a judge presiding over disputes to render decisions that are fair and help people. Today she sits as one of eight—soon to be nine—Supreme Court justices demonstrating that dreams can and do come true with perseverance, commitment and dedication.
