Growing up is never easy no matter what kind of animal you are! If you’re a tadpole trying to reach “froghood,” there are plenty of steps in between that keep these curious creatures busy and alert. From jelly like eggs laid in water, young tadpoles begin growing body parts to help them live both in and out of water. But dodging dangers like animals that prey on them, can keep a tadpole on his “toes” until his legs are strong enough to jump out of harm’s way.
