This inspirational issue highlights young people with simple ideas that had a big impact on other children’s lives. - solve a maze to get help to those in need
- locate matching pencils that inspired one fresh idea
- use the newspaper to identify a community problem; then compose a persuasive letter to the editor with your solution
- write creatively about giving and receiving
- decipher visual clues to uncover idiomatic phrases
