SearchThe Dutch National Police Force is training eagles to take down drones. Eagles are, of course, master hunters. Based in The Hague in Holland, a company called Guard From Above is helping the police by training their eagles to take illegally operating drones in flight.
The talon grip of a Bald Eagle is ten times stronger that the grip of the human hand. The birds are not hurt by the blades of the drones which they take to a safe place and where they are given a reward for their effort.
