Hot dogs are a kid favorite any time of year, but this recipe, that you can make with your children, is especially festive for the Fourth of July.
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated breadstick dough
- 2 packages hot dogs
- 16 slices of Colby cheese
- 16 skewers
- Small star cookie cutter
Kids can wrap the hotdogs on the skewers and parents should be in charge of cooking them for about 20 minutes. When they’ve cooled, kids can add the cheese stars to each one and display them for the table.
