Hedgehog Sandwiches

This section of Gourmet Mom on-the-go has a selection of creative sandwich ideas—from owls to Halloween faces.

Hedgie the Hedgehog uses a heart-shaped cookie cutter as a base.

First layer a slice of bread with peanut butter. Then use your heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the basic shape.

Break pretzels and insert into the peanut butter at an angle to create the “spines.”

Finish off the “face” with chocolate chips or blueberries.
